Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has delivered gift-filled shoeboxes to over 146 million children.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has delivered gift-filled shoeboxes to over 146 million children in more than 100 countries.
Open Door Church has 1,000 boxes ready to be filled. You can pick your box up in the lobby at either campus.

Collection Times for 2019
In addition to filling shoeboxes, the Edenton campus is a regional drop off site. Everyone in the area will be bringing their shoeboxes to our Edenton campus. We need volunteers for the drop off times from November 18th-24th. If you are interested in helping, fill out the form below.
